    The political influence of mass media is something that policy makers and the public discuss a great deal, but about which economists studying policy making have had little to say. A few recent papers indicate that a change may be taking place, however. The two issues here are 1) what should be said about the Snyderman and Rothman book by Wikipedia policy, based on the sources (the issue in this section) and 2) whether or not the book should have a separate stand-alone Wikipedia article by Wikipedia policy on articles about books (an issue for a different section of this talk page).
